Established in 1944, Wayside is located in south Kansas City, Missouri, on a beautiful, tree-filled 50-acre campus. The no kill animal shelter typically serves 6,000 animals annually. Services include: pet adoptions, volunteering, foster care, animal rescue and response, humane education, pet memorial services, a 5-acre off leash dog park, public dog training classes, and more.
