501(c) Success with Dr. Debra Mesch, Women's Philanthropy Institute
Join Debra Mesch, Ph.D., Director of the Women’s Philanthropy Institute at
the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, for a discussion on women as an undervalued asset for philanthropy.
Women are driving philanthropy in unprecedented ways, given their $5.15 trillion in assets, and the equal or higher amount they are inheriting due to the inter-generational transfer of wealth. In most houses they make or influence philanthropic decisions.
Dr. Mesch will explore the changing philanthropic landscape, what the research says about gender and philanthropy, and strategies that appeal to women. It's clear that engaging women in philanthropy is smart and transformative; women hold the key to philanthropy in the 21st century.
