Building a Culture of Philanthropy
Your organization’s culture reflects its beliefs, and whether explicitly articulated or not, those beliefs are very apparent to your donors. We can all agree that nonprofit organizations benefit from a healthy culture of philanthropy where everyone - not just the development team - is engaged. Even if your organization is committed to fundraising, behaviors and attitudes that reflect the beliefs, values and mindset of growing philanthropy can still be improved.
In this session, learn what a culture of philanthropy is, how to build one from the start, how to enhance your organization’s approach, and how to evaluate your progress and challenges over time. When your organization and core beliefs are aligned to build a culture of philanthropy, you create an opportunity to raise visibility, attract new prospects, deepen donor relationships, engage board members and demonstrate your ability to fulfill your mission -- and grow philanthropy.
