Marketing Compliance: Copyright, Trademark & False Advertising
Marketing, communications and content creation requires dealing with a variety of intellectual property issues, in particular copyright, trademark and false advertising. Dave Barnard, a 20-year veteran of some of the biggest intellectual property cases in the country, will discuss copyright, trademark and false advertising basics, risks and best practices for marketing and communications professionals. There will also be time for Q&A after the presentation.

David R. Barnard is a partner at Stinson. He is an experienced litigator who has first-chaired patent, trademark, false advertising, copyright, trade secret and other commercial disputes in courts throughout the U.S.
