YNPNkc Coffee Talk: Leaders of Color in Nonprofits
Representation and Inclusive Spaces
Kansas City has many dynamic nonprofits doing amazing work in our communities. More often than not, diversity becomes a catch phrase when talking about the changing landscape of nonprofit leadership. This Coffee Talk will take a look at the realities of the need for more People of Color (POC) in nonprofit leadership positions and boards through intimate conversations with leaders of color.
Join us for an important conversation and a collection of expert advice and connections to resources for POC as they explore careers in nonprofits.
Coffee and pastries will be provided.
Before the Coffee Talk, check out the Forbes article Nonprofit Leadership: How to Create a Diverse Pipeline to the Top for additional references to surveys and studies of People of Color in nonprofits.
