Middle and Upper School Math & Science Teacher
Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (HBHA) is an ISACS-accredited, independent K-12 Jewish day school located in Overland Park, Kansas. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy is seeking a Middle and Upper School teacher who has the skill set and abilities to teach Middle and Upper School Math and Science classes. In this role, the teacher will work closely with the supervisor, mentors, students, and families to provide an excellent academic experience that enhances the development of the school’s mission and provides opportunities for our students to engage in hands-on learning in a collaborative and respectful environment. We are seeking a candidate who is adept at planning with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for supporting the student’s academic journey.

Qualifications:

Education degree, Masters preferred, and teaching license preferred

Experience with Middle and Upper school students

Experience teaching Math and/or Science

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Physical demands include dexterity for office machine/supply operation, including but not limited to computers, telephones, copy machines, facsimiles, and printers. Stooping, bending, reaching for files or supplies, and sitting or standing for extended periods are common.
