Executive Director - Kansas City Young Audiences

CBIZ Talent Solutions has partnered with Kansas City Young Audiences in search of an Executive Director. Since inception over 65 years ago, Kansas City Young Audiences (KCYA) has impacted the lives of six million children in the Kansas City area.

KCYA is an arts education 501c3 nonprofit that exists to unlock the extraordinary potential within every student, by harnessing the transformational power of the arts in education. We believe that when young people experience consistent access to arts programming, they develop critical skills that prepare them for success in school, work, and life. KCYA offers the following arts programming across creative disciplines tailored to the needs of youth, families, and educators:

• Community School of the Arts: Dance, music, acting, theatre, and visual arts classes and Summer Camps are offered year-round for children ages 3 – 17.
• School and Community Programs: KCYA Professional teaching artists bring Arts programs into schools and community spaces throughout the Kansas City area. Our programs are designed to inspire and engage students, enhancing their learning in key curriculum areas through the arts.
• Arts Partners: Facilitate a consortium of 14 Kansas City professional arts organizations representing all artistic disciplines to deliver a comprehensive arts-integration plan at the school district level.
