Philanthropic Services Associate

Are you someone who loves staying organized, keeping things moving, and being part of work that truly makes an impact? We’re looking for a Philanthropic Services Associate to help power the behind-the-scenes work that makes our grantmaking possible.

In this role, you’ll be right in the middle of it all: supporting donors, nonprofits, and internal teams while helping ensure every detail of the grantmaking process runs smoothly and accurately.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Grantmaking Operations & Administration: Provide accurate administrative support for grantmaking activities, including processing grant payments, preparing board materials, maintaining records, drafting correspondence, and documenting meeting minutes.
• Grantmaking Systems & Technical Support: Utilize grantmaking software to process applications and reports, maintain standardized templates, and provide technical assistance to clients and stakeholders.
• Nonprofit & Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for nonprofit organizations, responding to inquiries, sharing grant history information, communicating deadlines, and supporting funding-related questions.
• Philanthropic, Research & Cross-Functional Support: Deliver exceptional customer service to philanthropic partners, assist with nonprofit research projects, coordinate administrative tasks, and provide backup support to the Grantmaking Services team and other departments as needed.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in admin, nonprofit, or support roles
• A strong attention to detail (you catch the little things others might miss!)
• Great communication and a customer-first mindset
• Confidence navigating systems like Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel); CRM or grant system experience is a plus
• A proactive, team-oriented approach—you like to jump in and help where needed
