Program Volunteer Recruiter

Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) is seeking applicants for a 30-hour/week hybrid Program Volunteer Recruiter.
DLN is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to change the lives of America’s most vulnerable adults through our coordinated system of care. We accomplish our mission by developing and coordinating collaborative relationships to provide life-changing dental care.

This position will be responsible for recruiting and engaging volunteer dentists, specialists, and dental laboratories throughout Missouri to support Dental Lifeline Network and its Donated Dental Services program. This position will build awareness of DLN, develop relationships within the dental community, and represent Dental Lifeline Network at meetings, conferences, dental schools and other outreach opportunities.

We are looking for someone who has experience in sales, nonprofit, volunteer recruitment, development, outreach, relationship management, or a related field. This person must have experience building professional relationships and developing new contacts through networking and direct outreach. This person should also have experience giving presentations and representing an organization at meetings, conferences, or other community events. Experience working with dental or healthcare professionals, nonprofit organizations, membership organizations or professional societies preferred.

This position will primarily be based in Jefferson City, MO, but the candidate will be expected to travel to professional meetings, educational programs, and community events throughout the state of Missouri. Some overnight travel, evening, and weekend work may be required. This is a 30 hour/week position. The schedule may vary based on meetings, travel, conferences, and recruitment opportunities.
