Nonprofit Connect Is Moving!

Nonprofit Connect Is Moving!

We've been teasing our move for a long time now, and are thrilled to officially announce the location of our new office building. Nestled in downtown, on the corner of 17th & Wyandotte, the new Nonprofit Connect office will be on the first floor of the building. We're not quite open to the public yet, as we're putting the finishing touches on our remodel. There will be more info on that to come in September. For now, please write down our new address:

Nonprofit Connect
1703 Wyandotte Street
Suite 100
Kansas City, MO 64108

We've can't wait to share our great slate of programs, roundtables, institutes, and events to come this Fall. While not officially announced yet, we'll be hosting a flight of nonprofit roundtables coming in the Fall, for you and your coworkers to come gather with your peers. Marketing, Volunteer Managers, Fundraising staff and more will all be able to get together to network, connect, and learn from one another. And for the first time since December 2019, our annual nonprofit holiday party will be in-person at our new office!

The Nonprofit Connect staff is through the moon to share this announcement with everyone. After so long spent virtual, we asked the team: "What are you most looking forward to about getting back into an office?"

Luann Feehan, President & CEO: "I'm looking forward to entering into the next chapter of Nonprofit Connect with a great board, awesome staff, and a beautiful new work-home. It will be so refreshing to reconnect with our members and the community while in the Crossroads."

Sidney Smith, Chief Operating Officer: "Looking forward to the energy that comes with proximity to my co-workers and our members. Definitely looking forward to working in an office that is energetic, in a neighborhood that is the epitome of energy in our city. Additionally, I love my home, I really do… So much so that I am ready to re-establish a little more distinction between work and home. Occasional work from home can be an incredible respite, however, constant working from home creates blurred lines that I’d rather better define once we get our own office space again. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the First Fridays potential in that space and the surrounding Crossroads area. I can’t wait!"

Emily Hane, Director of Learning: "I'm looking forward to welcoming visitors! There is something really powerful about sitting down with someone over a cup of coffee in a vibrant part of the city. Definitely gets the brainstorms thundering! I'm lucky that so much of my job is connecting and learning with other nonprofit professionals, and I'm excited to have more opportunities to exchange ideas away from a screen."

Beth Kuta, Executive Assistant: "I’m looking forward to rebuilding the rapport of the staff. I’m also looking forward to seeing our members use our space. We’ve dreamed about a new location for a while and to see it come into reality is exciting!"

Hannah Bernardini, Events Manager: "I feel very fortunate to work with a team that generally enjoys being together, and I’d say I’m mostly looking forward to being in a space with the whole Nonprofit Connect staff again! We have big plans to make our office a convening space and I’m also really eager to make that a reality, as well. I hope one day, months from now, I’ll walk out of my office and see a space full of our friends and peers meeting with one another and enjoying a nice cup of coffee. That’s when I know we’ll have officially moved in."

Colin Bennett, Marketing Manager: "Getting out of my house for the first time since February mostly, ha. But in reality, I am most looking forward to having a physical space for our Members to come and meet at. I think in this ‘new normal’ networking with your peers is so important to finding community for yourself and your staff, and having a set location for us to host programs/events at will be wonderful. Not only will it be a chance for our Members to plug in with one another, but I think our staff will enjoy the camaraderie and atmosphere that being on location will provide. The only one who’s not going to enjoy the new office is my black lab at home, who has gotten very used to having his person there five days a week. Maybe he’ll just have to show up some days..."
