Tahir Atwater
As a skilled non-profit professional with a focus on youth, advocacy, and championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Tahir brings over 15 years of experience to his role as Director of Donor and Volunteer Engagement at Jackson County CASA. Tahir is also a graduate of the 2020 Nonprofit Managers Institute

Gene Willis
A marketing and communications leader with 20+ years experience in digital marketing, brand management, strategic planning, social media engagement, large-scale event planning, and public relations/corporate communications, Gene currently serves as the Chief Engagement Officer of United Inner City Services. Gene serves frequently as a judge and committee member for Nonprofit Connect's annual Philly Awards.
Kristen Wood
Kristen joins the Board of Directors as the Ex-officio Director and Chair of Connext, our young professionals networking group. As the current Director of Strategic Initiatives at Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas, Kristen brings more than 7 years of nonprofit experience to her role.
Kristen has served on the Connext Board since 2018. An active Nonprofit Connect member, Kristen is a graduate of the 2019 Fund Development Institute and the 2017 Volunteer Management Institute.
