DESCRIPTION:With your nonprofit followers spending more time on screen than ever before\, how do you continue to communicate in ways that are fresh\, engaging\, and keep your constituents close? \n\n\n\nJoin Meggan Rorvig\, Senior Marketing + Development Manager at M&C\, as she shares marketing tips and tricks for staying connected while socially distant. This session will use breakout rooms to facilitate small group discussions where everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions\, share\, and network together. \n\n\n\nThis is a program of the Let's Connect Virtual Discussion Series. \n\nSpeakers:\n\n\n\nMeggan Rorvig is the Senior Marketing & Development Manager at M&C\, a Kansas City-based agency specializing in nonprofit fundraising\, messaging and strategy. She leads the company?s marketing efforts and also works with a variety of client accounts\, including Veterans of Foreign Wars and Jewish Family Services. She holds dual bachelor?s degrees in Communications and Political Science and a master?s degree in Public Affairs\, all from the University of Missouri. \n\nMeggan has a long history in nonprofit fundraising and marketing. Most recently\, she dedicated seven years to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art\, raising more than $1 million annually through direct mail\, digital fundraising\, annual giving and membership campaigns. She is also skilled in event and community-based fundraising\, having spent a combined nine years as a volunteer and an employee of The American Cancer Society. Additionally\, Meggan spent several years as a project manager for Ascend Integrated Media\, specializing in event and custom media for medical associations and trade shows. \n\nMeggan is passionate about devoting her personal and professional time to helping our nonprofit community thrive and grow. She holds several volunteer fundraising events each year to benefit Children's Mercy Hospital. She currently serves on the board of the Association Fundraising Professionals Greater Kansas City Chapter as the VP of Membership.\n\n\n\n\n\nYou!\n\nYour active participation is highly encouraged.
