BIPOC Nonprofit Professional Roundtable- 2/7/2024
TOPIC: Insights and Trends from the Funder's Chair
We kickoff 2024's first BIPOC Roundtable with a nod to the incredible conversations that occurred in a session entitled, "Show Me the Money: Funders Panel," from the 2023 Black Non-Profit Leadership Symposium, presented by The Nia Project and Nonprofit Connect. Special thanks to Terri Barnes for her leadership with organizing that incredible day of learning!
In this casual roundtable gathering, you will receive the insight of various funders on the current state of funding, current and emerging trends, and overall tips on how to engage the funding community. We also hope this serves as an opportunity to network with these representatives to bolster your confidence when applying for funding.
Our time together will span two hours, we will get started with our panel discussion promptly at 1:15pm. Come ready to learn, network, and grow with your BIPOC colleagues, old and new.
This roundtable is intended for nonprofit professionals who identify as black, indigenous, and other people of color. We created these roundtables in response to feedback and numerous requests from our community. Nonprofit Connect works hard to incorporate diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging into all programming, and we also believe it's important to provide intentional spaces for specific communities to share their lived experiences.
