BIPOC Nonprofit Professional Roundtable | Thriving with Self-Care
Join Nonprofit Connect's BIPOC Roundtable - a dynamic forum crafted for individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
Self-Care can be experienced with scented candles, vacations, skin care routines, and luxurious getaways with the people that make us smile. However, this isn't always the case. Unfortunately, some people find that self-care hasn't been effective for them, those reasons may include but aren't limited to the following;
- Self-care plans are being thought of in moments of stress vs. ahead of time,
- Self-care strategies implemented don't fit the current needs of the person, and/or
- Self-care isn't considered as a necessary and/or an option.
In order to help increase the likelihood of being prepared while navigating the ebb and flows of life, Thriving with Self-Care, will not just provide space to listening to others’ experiences of self-care. There will be an environment for attendees to actively participate in developing strategies that promote their own well-being. This engagement will allow attendees to feel empowered when applying these insights to their own lives.
Join us as we engage in the important work of Thriving with Self-Care!
