Connext All Access Tour at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City - in partnership with the Red Shoe Society
On any given night, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City (RMHC-KC) serves 87 families with sick children - providing closeness to each other, as well as the care and resources they need. In 2018, RMHC-KC's 3 local Houses and Family Room provided comfort and care to 7,685 families as well as opened its doors to support over 60,000 visits from family and friends of in-patients at Children’s Mercy. You can help change a child’s life today. Sharing your time, talent and financial support provides hope for families facing a medical crisis.
Join Connext in partnership with the Red Shoe Society to receive a full-access tour of at least one of the Houses and see the spaces guest families call home anywhere from 1 to 365+ nights while their child is receiving medical care. You will learn more about the many ways you can get involved, and meet other professionals interested in giving back.
Following the tours, we'll head to a happy hour at Teocali for Connext and Red Shoe Society members to mingle and enjoy refreshments. Chips, salsa and guacamole will be provided. Drinks including alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
Parking InstructionsThere is limited street parking available. The Longfellow House has limited parking for guest families and so we encourage carpooling or parking nearby if you can.
