Event Planning: The Good, the Bad & the Ugly
An event, whether it?s a small social gathering or a large annual meeting, needs planning. Events need A LOT of careful planning, and although the amount of preparation can be overwhelming, once you embrace and get ahead of all the details, event planning is fun! This fast-paced, interactive, lively program will cover the good, the bad and the slightly ugly sides of event planning. Whether you?re new to planning events, or you?ve event planned for years, there will be something for everyone.

Presenter:
Tracey DeMarea is the proud Executive Director of the Johnson County Bar Association. A 501c6 organization with over 1200 members, she has led the Bar for over four years. Previously, Tracey worked as the Director of Communications and Membership for the KC Metropolitan Bar Association. Tracey was the original ?Brexit?, leaving the UK in 2011 to move to Kansas.

Nonprofit Connect is located in the KCPT building under the big red tower. Please park in one of the two lots directly north and across 31st Street from the station, leaving the main lot for KCPT staff and visitors with disabilities.
