Join Lyric Opera of Kansas City and Le Fou Frog for an evening of culture and cuisine! Indulge in live excerpts from La bohème, perfectly complemented by a curated four-course Parisian meal. This communal dining experience will feature a menu inspired by the culinary scene of nineteenth-century France, the setting of La bohème. As Marcello exclaims in La bohème upon arriving at Café Momus: “To dinner!”

- Amuse-bouche: escargot canapé
- Seafood vol-au-vent: flaky puff pastry with a medley of shellfish with sauce velouté
- Stuffed quail: grilled quail stuffed with sweetbreads, chicken liver, and brioche, served with a Madeira veal demi-glace
- Salade française: bitter greens, oeufs mayonnaise, lardons, and a Dijon vinaigrette
- Baba au rhum: traditional rum-soaked brioche with poached pears and whipped cream
- Mignardises: French for “sweets”—bite-sized confections
