National Speaker Series: Cultivating CommUNITY with Charles Weathers
Cultivating CommUnity: A Place of Belonging
Community member engagement is both essential to and a byproduct of the viability and success of any mission-driven nonprofit. Without community support, buy-in, and engagement, nonprofits are unable to live out their mission and communities are left feeling unseen and underserved. How do nonprofit leaders marshal their resources to advance, deepen, and widen this engagement?
Cultivating CommUnity is a deliberate, inclusive, relational approach that equips leaders to reimagine and strengthen community engagement efforts. Through this approach, leaders will learn the consequences of misguided community engagement efforts, understand the role their nonprofit plays in building and advancing community engagement, and explore how diversity and inclusion are integral to true community. Through leveraging your leadership, you will Cultivate CommUnity: A Place of Belonging - for everyone.
This is a program of the National Speaker Series.
