Nonprofit Executive Breakfast
Messaging and Leadership Strategies for Generation Z
Currently in their late teens and early twenties, Generation Z could be the answer to the current workforce shortage in Nonprofit organizations. Gen Z, however, is not simply a younger version of Millennials.
While Millennials were identified as driven, confident, and eager to make a difference, your youngest recruits are often uncertain, risk averse, and anxious about their future. Attracting this generation with the message that they can directly, tangibly, and positively impact people's lives may prove less effective than it did with previous applicants. How do you recruit members of this generation to your organization? What are members of Gen Z looking for in their place of employment?
This presentation will provide information about the newest generation to enter the workforce, and specific recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies for leading this generation.
Nonprofit Executive Breakfasts are held three times per year with the goal of bringing together the executive leaders of Kansas City's nonprofits for idea sharing and networking. Your participation is important to us and to your colleagues throughout the Kansas City area. Join us to nurture partnerships and build supportive relationships with peers over casual breakfast.
Please note: Attendance at this breakfast is solely for nonprofit executive directors and CEOs.
This is a program of the Executive Leadership Track.
