Public and Private Dollars in a Changing Landscape
Nonprofits across Missouri are entering a period of major funding uncertainty. Federal executive orders, state budget shifts, and new costs related to Medicaid, SNAP, and other programs will ripple across every community in our state. At the same time, philanthropy is being called on to respond in new ways.
To help nonprofits prepare, the Grant Professionals Association – St. Louis Chapter is hosting a statewide virtual panel on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. CST.
We’ll hear from:
• Missouri Budget Project – state budget and revenue outlook
• Missouri Foundation for Health – health policy and safety-net implications
• Philanthropy Missouri – philanthropy’s response and trends
Who should attend: grant professionals, fundraisers, executive directors, and nonprofit leaders of all sizes from grassroots groups to statewide agencies.
Why it matters:
• Understand how Missouri’s state budget will impact nonprofit funding over the next 1–2 years
• Learn what philanthropy may do to fill emerging gaps
• Gain practical insights on how to position your organization and proposals for sustainability
• Ask questions directly to state and philanthropic experts
