Saturday STEM Seminar - 'Music: A Total Brain Workout' Presented by Stephanie Ramirez

Music can activate almost all brain regions and networks! Learn from a musician and speech language pathologist how your brain responds to music and how music can be used in therapy.

Stephanie has been practicing speech-language pathology since 2009 in various settings, primarily focusing on acute care and outpatient rehabilitation with adults. In February of 2021, Stephanie founded the virtual Brain Injury Support Group through North Kansas City Hospital which meets monthly and serves individuals from Missouri to California. She is passionate about sharing information with the community and has been a featured speaker at several conferences.
