Saturday STEM Seminar - 'Versatility at your Fingertips: From Industry to Academia in Tech.' Presented by Alexa Summers.
Our Fall/Spring Saturday STEM Seminars offer a fantastic and FREE chance to get introduced to the diverse world of STEM careers and professionals. Held about once a month, this series aims to expose students and public alike to cutting-edge topics in science and showcase the career paths taken by an array of STEM experts - from aerospace engineers to forensic specialists. As an added incentive, at the end of each semester, the Kansas City area educator who sends the most students to our seminars (for some extra credit hopefully!) will be awarded a special prize!
Apps, Games and Web Development – Oh My! Computer Science is one of the most versatile degrees you can obtain today. Join us to learn about the path from industry to academia, the vast range of available opportunities, getting creative with finding work, and how you might even be able to fall into something out of the ordinary.
