Stems: A Garden Soirée

Stems is the signature annual fundraiser of the Arts & Recreation Foundation, celebrated each summer at the beautiful Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. This elegant garden-party experience brings together community members, business leaders, and arts and parks supporters for an evening that showcases the very best of our region. Guests stroll through the Arboretum’s pathways enjoying tasting stations from local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and chefs, while live musicians, artists, and performers create a vibrant, immersive atmosphere. The event features creative activations, artistic demonstrations, and opportunities to explore the gardens at sunset and into the evening. Funds raised through Stems directly support arts initiatives, cultural programming, and recreation projects across Overland Park—including enhancements to the Arboretum, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, and citywide arts programs.
