Facilitator:
Alaina Meekins-Kent, is a dedicated community advocate with a fervent passion for mental health and cultivating joy in life. She is the visionary founder of ConSOUL Collective, a non-profit organization committed to bridging the affordability and access gap to culturally competent mental health care for young adults.
While championing mental wellness, Alaina also thrives in her professional role at Hill's Pet Nutrition (Colgate-Palmolive), where she serves on the Paid Media Team as a Media Performance specialist. Even on the clock, she channels her advocacy spirit as a member of the Black Leadership Network Exec Board.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Alaina finds fulfillment in educating others. She shares her expertise by teaching marketing and social media literacy skills to small and aspiring business owners as a contract teacher for Square One at the Mid Continent-Public Library. Furthermore, she extends her passion for nurturing future leaders by serving as a member of the Marketing Advisory Board of Directors for the Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Through her multifaceted endeavors, Alaina is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in both her community and professional spheres.
