Susan Howlett has been raising money joyfully for 45 years -- as a board member, development director, executive director, and consultant to thousands of nonprofits across the continent. Author of two award-winning books (Getting Funded and Boards on Fire), she's been lead faculty in a year-long certificate in fundraising at the University of Washington since 1990. Known for offering simple solutions to complex problems, Susan leads about 40 board retreats each year and speaks, trains, and consults nationally. Her presentations are delivered with humor, stories, and chocolate, (although you'll have to provide your own chocolate this time.)
