Webinar - Reconciling Grant Budgets
Reconciling grant budgets is an essential process of effective grant management. It conveys results to the funder and demonstrates how the grant funds are being spent on programmatic activities. Whether your grant is small or large, or supports a single program or many, you will need to reconcile your budgets when you report back to the funder.
Using Microsoft Excel, this webinar will prepare you to:
- Discuss the importance of reconciling your original grant budget with actual expenditures based on 2 CFR 200 (uniform administrative requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements for federal awards) - and how to do it.
- Understand and utilize the standards for effective internal controls along with the framework set out by COSO, the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations. COSO is the most widely recognized source of guidance on internal control for grants.
Join Jasmine Markanday, president and owner of PKS Grant Management & Accounting Solutions, LLC to polish your Excel skills around grant budget reconciliation.
All registrants will receive the recording and materials afterward.
