What Nonprofit Marketers Need to Know About UX
UX. UI. UCD. What does it all mean? And more importantly, what do these things mean to you as a nonprofit marketer? Chances are high that your website will be the first point of contact between your nonprofit and a potential donor. That’s why it’s crucial for your website to make a good first impression and deliver a pleasing user experience (UX). The best way to do that is by making it more user-friendly for visitors both tech-savy and otherwise, with a user interface (UI) that is has user-centered design (UCD).
Presenter:
After nearly 15 years leading cross-channel marketing initiatives for a variety of nonprofits in DC, Julie Klima moved to Kansas City, where she now serves as general manager of Useagility, Kansas City’s leading user experience design agency. She’ll share the highlights of what she’s learned about UX – and what she wishes she had known when she was a nonprofit marketer.Additional Programs on Marketing:
