Create a Magical Prom Night for the Special Needs Community
We expect over 1,500 attendees as we celebrate the tenth year of Night to Shine Kansas City on Friday, February 12th, 2027 -- and we need YOUR help to make this community event happen!
Join our team and be a part of creating magical memories for our VIPs. Whether you’re hyping up the red carpet, manning an activity station, or hitting the dance floor as a buddy, your contribution is invaluable. Prior experience with the special needs community is not required, but our registration form does ask if you have any special training or experience for role assignment purposes. We have volunteer roles available for ages 14 and up.
Event Date: Friday, February 12th, 2027
Event Location: Hale Arena - 1701 American Royal Ct, Kansas City, MO 64102
Event Time: Volunteer check-in begins at 4:30pm, with boxed meals available. We ask that all volunteers arrive no later than 5pm so we have ample time to get everyone checked in, huddle, and get our stations set before doors open to our VIPs! The event runs from 6-9pm.
