Pricing Structure
Nonprofit and Business members can post volunteer opportunities and board positions for free.

Individual members and nonmembers can submit their opportunities for $25 per week.

*If you are posting an open board position, make sure to select Board of Directors as your Category. Consider using our board position description template to make sure you provide the right information.

Join Us for a Bright Future:

This fall, we're offering exciting volunteer opportunities that allow you to make a difference in the lives of students in KCK's urban core. Whether you choose to help with tutoring, reading, or engaging students through educational games and activities, your involvement can truly change lives.

Here’s How You Can Get Involved:

  • After-School Program: Available every weekday afternoon. Our greatest need is on Thursdays.
  • In-School Program: Focus on reading with students during the morning.
  • Don't have 1 hour per week? There are many other ways to be involved in Learning Club, please respond to this email to get connected!

Your Commitment:

  • One Hour a Week: Dedicate a single hour each week during the school semester if you are an in-school or after-school volunteer.
  • Volunteer Orientation: Includes a background check (paid for by Learning Club) and a one-hour training session to get you started.
  • Don't have 1 hour per week? There are many other ways to be involved in Learning Club, please respond to this email to get connected!

Save the Dates for After-School Programming:

  • St. Margaret’s on Mondays: Starts August 19
  • Douglas Heights on Tuesdays: Starts August 20
  • Blessed Sacrament on Wednesdays: Starts August 21
  • Fellowship Hall on Tuesdays: Starts August 27
  • Cyrus K. Holliday on Wednesdays: Starts August 28
  • Chalet Manor on Thursdays: Starts August 29 - This is where we have the most need currently.

Save the Dates for In-School Programming:

  • New Chelsea Elementary on Tuesdays: TBD
  • New Stanley Elementary on Wednesdays: Starts September 4
  • John Fiske Elementary on Thursdays: Starts September 5

Times for in-school reading will be confirmed closer to the start of the school year.
