Nonprofit and Business members can post volunteer opportunities and board positions for free.

Individual members and nonmembers can submit their opportunities for $25 per week.

*If you are posting an open board position, make sure to select Board of Directors as your Category. Consider using our board position description template to make sure you provide the right information.

VOLUNTEERING AT T/M - contact Rachel Wathen, Assistant Museum Educator

Are you a storyteller with a passion for art and history who, more importantly, loves sharing that passion with others? Then come volunteer at The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures! Volunteers are vital community partners who support T/m’s mission to educate, inspire, and delight.

All volunteers enjoy special benefits such as 10% off in the museum store, special invites to exhibit openings and volunteer appreciation events, first-hand museum experience, and a connection to a vibrant volunteer community.

VOLUNTEER ROLES

  • T/m volunteers communicate primarily with the Assistant Museum Educator.
  • Volunteer Opportunities Include:
    • Leading Guided Tours
    • Staffing and Prepping Educational Programs
    • Providing Educational "Pop-Up" Programs in the Galleries
    • Assisting with Development/Marketing
    • Assisting with Visitor Services

REQUIREMENTS

  • Pass a background check
  • Training on T/m's history and collection
  • Commitment to one shift every three months
