Individual members and nonmembers can submit their opportunities for $25 per week.

Board of Directors Volunteer
Who are we:
- Veterans Without Orders is an all-volunteer, veteran-led, non-profit, non-partisan organization that assists populations without clean water and other essential services
- As the “tip of the spear”, we focus on delivering clean water filters directly to the communities who need them, ensuring we can make an immediate impact on suffering communities
- know VWOs organization’s mission, policies, programs, and needs as well as understand its collective purpose
- serve as active advocates and ambassadors for the organization
- fully engage in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for the organization to advance its mission
- leverage connections, networks, and resources to develop collective action to achieve the organization’s mission
- give a meaningful personal financial donation
- help identify personal connections that can benefit VWO’s fundraising and reputational standing, and influence public policy
- prepare for, attend, and conscientiously participate in board meetings as required
- engage in learning opportunities to better understand the community we serve
- Preferred: Live in the Kansas City Area
- Exhibits integrity, credibility and has a passion to support veterans and international health efforts
- Is knowledgeable, influential and highly respected in the community
- Is willing to leverage personal and professional connections to promote VWOs mission
- Demonstrates effectiveness in working with donors, volunteers and partners
- Has diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships among diverse individuals in our community
