Unbound receives and processes around 1.3 million pieces of mail from our sponsored friends at our headquarters in Kansas City every year! We typically process over 500,000 of those pieces of mail within the months of October – December. Whether it is just you or a group of people, we need your help! Volunteers at the Service Center help to match up the sponsors information with the handwritten letter or photo of the sponsored member and prepare the letters and photos to be mailed out.

SNKC supports low-income pet owners by providing access to supplies such as dog houses, collars, tie-outs, and more. We need delivery drivers to load up these items at our clinic and deliver them to people's homes. Deliveries take place on Saturdays and take no more than 2 hours. Drivers must have their own vehicle, a valid DL, and must be confident and compassionate individuals.
Delivery drivers bring food and supplies to the homes of pet owners in need.

Enabling Seniors to live full and independent lives
Twenty-five volunteers are needed weekdays from 10:30AM-2:30PM to help run the Kansas City Community Kitchen like a restaurant which feeds hundreds of neighbors during daily lunches. Volunteers help with greeting our neighbors, taking orders and serving guests, plating food, delivering drinks, bussing tables, washing dishes, and a little bit of clean-up.

The bus assistant and driver work as a team to provide safe, supervised group transportation for our Breaktime Club bus route. Riders are provided full hands-on help from door to bus seat to hand-off. Supervision, compassion and decision skills are needed. We are looking for one, Tuesday morning volunteer from 8am-9:30am or Tuesday afternoon from 1:30pm-3:00pm. Must be in good physical health and use personal cell phone to call riders.
We are looking for individuals or teams to deliver nutritious meals to aging adults. Candidates must be physically able to lift, load, and deliver meals to residential addresses.
You will be helping to provide minor home repairs for the safety and security of elderly residences, 60 and older, in the northland.
