We need volunteer's to make this event a success and we know there are many willing hands in Kansas City to make it successful. KC Shepherd's Center is looking to partner with businesses, families, churches, schools, scout groups, civic groups and individuals that are ready to chip in!

Raking yards for older adults who are no longer physically able to rake and can't afford to hire help.

Tyler's House KC, a nonprofit dedicated to providing safe after school space and arts programs for Northeast Johnson County teens in need of connection, is searching for an experienced, knowledgeable, proactive person who is passionate about our mission and possesses the legal expertise to ensure our growing organization remains in compliance with all legal, regulatory, and tax reporting requirements. General Counsel will advise THKC regarding all legal aspects of the organization.

Tyler’s House KC is an emerging nonprofit in Northeast Johnson County, dedicated to providing safe spaces where creative arts programming serves to heal, connect, and promote emotional wellness among the young people in our community. The organization is searching for an experienced and analytical person who is passionate about our mission and possesses the numerical skills to ensure the effectiveness of our organization by supporting all aspects of finance and accounting.

Board Position Opening with Nonprofit Serving Johnson County Teens

Unloading, packing and sorting shift will take place beginning at 10:00 am. There are various days dependent on client needs.

Meals on Wheels prep and sorting opportunties

We are currently recruiting volunteers to deliver meals and other supplies in our service area to adults that are 60+ and homebound.

Volunteers are needed to sort textile donations. Opportunities available Tuesday-Sunday 12-2 or 2-4. Limited knowledge of textiles helps.

Textile Lovers Wanted

Energetic and warm volunteers are needed Tuesdays-Sundays from 12-2 or 2-4 to help welcome our customers and ring up their purchases.

Friendly Faces Wanted

Regular, weekly volunteers are needed to help sort and organize creative materials donated to our resale shop. Shifts are Tuesday-Sunday from 12-2 and 2-4.

Treasure Hunters Wanted

Help us grow more healthy food for KCK families by volunteering at Splitlog Farm!

Help us feed more families

Budget Counselors play a meaningful role in helping families/individuals go from homelessness to self-sufficiency. You do not have to be and accountant or banker to volunteer for this role. There will be an 1-1.5 hour training before you are paired with a resident to begin helping them create a budget and tracking income and expenses. Currently, all meetings are held virtually.
