Office Coordinator (Part-Time)

Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Office Coordinator (15–20 hours/week) to support the day-to-day operations of our Kansas City-based office. This hybrid role combines administrative and executive assistant support, donation and data entry, light bookkeeping, and project coordination. You will work closely with the Executive Director and be a steady, organized presence for our small staff.
At least one in-person day per week in our Kansas City office is required. Scheduling is otherwise flexible.
Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative and executive support to the Executive Director
  • Calendar management, correspondence, and document preparation
  • Accurate donation entry and constituent data management (Salesforce preferred)
  • Light bookkeeping in QuickBooks (expenses, invoices, reconciliation)
  • Light project coordination — checklists, timelines, reminders
  • Occasional communications or website support
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated support for LGBTQIA+ justice and inclusion — this is central to our mission
  • Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail
  • Proficiency with standard office software
  • Experience with QuickBooks, or ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable internet access; ability to work independently in a hybrid setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM
  • Experience with Squarespace or similar website platform
  • Prior work in nonprofit, faith-based, or church-related settings
  • Experience with donation processing or basic fundraising support
Compensation
  • $20–$25/hour, based on experience
  • 15–20 hours/week with flexible scheduling
  • Paid time off (PTO) | No medical benefits
