Operations Manager

Part time
(15-20 hours/week)
Hybrid- Work from home and the NDKC Studio at Livestock Exchange Building, Suite 200.
Hours may vary depending on our season of events.
Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and analytical Operations Manager to oversee the organization’s daily functions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational policies, managing resources and budgets, and ensuring the organization operates smoothly to meet its goals.

Job Responsibilities:
Finance:
-
Manage daily bookkeeping activities and payroll processing.

Maintain accurate financial records and prepare for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements.

Assist with budget preparation and monitor cash flow.

Track and report on grant-related expenses, ensuring adherence to grant guidelines and deadlines.

Coordinate with the external auditor to prepare year-end filings, including the IRS Form 990.
Administration:

Maintain NDKC Art Space facility, including managing supplies, equipment, and coordinating with building management for maintenance.

Create and manage filing systems for documents, records, and contracts to ensure information is easily accessible.

Organize, store and archive sensitive information, including personnel and donor data.

Serve as the first point of contact for basic IT issues, such as printer problems or network access.
Job Requirements:
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in non-profit management or a related field.

Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

Excellent bookkeeping and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent time-management and multitasking skills
-
Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset
