Kansas City Chorale Artistic Assistant
Responsibilities: Kansas City Chorale Artistic Assistant contract position
To serve as general liaison between vocalists, executive director and artistic director
Time commitment: ~16 hours per month during concert season (September – May)
Library maintenance:
- Database management
- Sourcing and ordering new music when necessary
- Distribution and receiving scores from singers
- Replenishing files
Vocalists
- Management of audition process in partnership with Artistic Director
- Distribution/collection of annual contracts
- Calendar management in partnership with Marketing Director
- Maintain direct communication with singers and staff
Concerts
- Hire accompanists, acquire instruments in partnership with Executive Director
- Assist in communication of annual concert schedule in partnership with Marketing Director
- Coordination with concert manager
- Coordination with concert venues
Attendance requirements
- All concerts, call time to curtain
Skills required:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Job Type: Part Time
Salary Range: Up to $29,999
