Executive Director – Center Education Foundation

The Center Education Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Executive Director to lead our mission of enhancing educational resources and opportunities for students within the Center School District.
This is a unique opportunity for an organized and outgoing professional to make a lasting impact by fostering relationships, driving fundraising initiatives, and leading the Foundation's strategic activities.
As the Executive Director, you’ll wear many hats, from community ambassador to fundraiser extraordinaire. Here’s how you’ll shine in this role:
Fundraising & Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with the Center School District administration, staff, alumni, and community organizations to advance the Foundation’s mission.
- Lead fundraising efforts: Plan and execute campaigns, including our annual Fit58 5K Run, Distinguished Alumni program, and signature auction and gala events.
- Strengthen alumni relations: Engage with alumni to build support and increase awareness of the Foundation’s activities.
- Market our mission: Use newsletters, social media, and website updates to highlight the Foundation's impact and goals.
- Build connections: Cultivate relationships with parents, corporate partners, and donors, fostering a shared commitment to student success.
- Manage daily operations: Handle grant applications, financial reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Support the Board: Prepare for meetings, keep accurate records, and provide regular updates.
- Streamline systems: Oversee donor management systems, coordinate communications, and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about education and community building
- A natural connector with strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities
- Creative and proactive in identifying opportunities to grow our impact
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or related fields
- Proven success in fundraising, event planning, or community engagement
- Experience managing websites, social media, and donor databases (e.g., Network for Good)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Compensation: Competitive compensation offered annually
- Impactful Work: Directly contribute to improving education and creating opportunities for students
- Flexible Schedule: Lead and manage projects with autonomy
