Manager of Donor Relations 
Year round position 


Job Summary: Pembroke Hill seeks an enthusiastic Manager of Donor Relations to join our Development team. The Manager will drive the implementation of comprehensive stewardship efforts and promote a culture of gratitude with the goal of fostering long term engagement and philanthropic investment at all giving levels. 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or work experience equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3 years in a non-profit, development or fundraising experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organization skills.
  • An eye for detail and proven problem-solving skills and proactive actions.
  • Above average interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Word and Excel, as well as database experience.
  • Ability to adapt to and use new technology.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, ethics and professionalism.
  • Commitment to the mission, programs and future aspirations of Pembroke Hill School.
  • Occasional evening work required.
 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provides strategic direction and develops an annual operating plan for donor
  • cultivation and stewardship, with a focus on major, planned and leadership
  • annual giving donors.
  • Designs and implements programs, events and collateral that engage and
  • steward donors across all levels of giving.
  • Collaborates with gift officers to steward leadership of annual and planned giving donors.
  • Works closely with the Director of Development to manage stewardship reporting for endowed and major gifts.
  • Tracks and documents donor interactions, gift agreements and stewardship activities in the database to strengthen relationships and encourage continued support.
  • Oversees the timeline, content development and production of the Philanthropy Report and Endowment Fund Report, with the goal of enhancing their impact as stewardship tools.
  • Coordinates with the Business Office, Division Heads and Admissions team to track and manage endowed funds and ensure proper utilization.
  • Oversees the administration of giving societies (Vassie James Hill and Founders Circle), working with frontline fundraisers to effectively engage and steward members.
  • Supports the development and execution of customized stewardship plans for high-priority donors.
  • Manages the donor relations budget.
 

Schedule: This is a 12 month position with paid time off in accordance with employee benefit plans. Occasional evening or weekend commitments, as needed for events.
 
Compensation: Compensation will be based on related experience and education and a competitive norm influenced by local relevant professional salary data. Transcripts and verification of employment will be required. Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $50,000 - 74,999
