2024-2025 School Year Middle & Upper School Mathematics Position

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Barstow School is seeking a skilled, collaborative, and enthusiastic Middle & Upper School mathematics faculty member.  This position could teach some combination of mathematics courses spanning sixth grade mathematics through upper school algebra II.  Candidates should have a strong background in teaching students in grades 6-10, along with mathematics knowledge, preferably in an independent school setting.  Ideal candidates will also possess excellent organization, communication and writing skills. 
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
-           A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mathematics or mathematics education, preferably a Master’s degree.
-           At least two years teaching Middle and/or Upper School, preferably in an independent school setting.
-           A high degree of comfort using technology to support instruction.
-           Excellent organization and communication skills.
