Admissions Technology Specialist
POSITION TITLE: Admissions Technology Specialist
DIVISION: Academic Affairs
DEPARTMENT: Enrollment Management
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Enrollment Management
PAY TYPE: Exempt
WORKER TYPE: Full-Time
UPDATED: March 2025
PAY: $60,000 - $65,000
Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment, the Admissions Technology Specialist is responsible for all daily operations and management of Slate. This includes, but is not
limited to, communications, event buildout, maintenance, and inquiry management. This position will manage all aspects of Slate technology and develop, implement, monitor, and update Slate operations throughout the admissions recruitment cycle.
Essential Functional Responsibilities:

Provides technical assistance and training on Slate procedures, systems integration, data integrity, and reporting.

Serves as a key member of the Slate team—assessing departmental needs, recommending digital solutions, and updating procedures accordingly.

Assists with all application and document processing, including downloading, importing, and processing all digital application materials.

Works with the VP for Enrollment and Slate team on the deployment of all digital communications, including mass emails and event communications.

Conducts ongoing training to ensure compliance.

Coordinates, implements, and releases annual admissions application updates.

Creates queries/reports for the department and others as requested.

Serves as the liaison to outside vendors and other service providers, including but not limited to Technolutions (Slate), Constituo, and Parchment.

Assists with the implementation and evaluation of new software. Serving as a project lead where needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

Ability to use the latest computer equipment and programs, including, but not limited to:

Microsoft Suite
-
Slate/Jenzabar CRM Systems
-
Google Suite
-
Possess the ability to work with minimum supervision while having strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Ability to work in an innovative and flexible environment.

Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently, including responding to emails and requests in a timely manner.

Ability to communicate clearly and accurately convey information in person, virtually, or by phone.

Ability to resolve conflicts in a constructive manner, work under the pressure of deadlines, and shift priorities as required.

Ability to bring projects to conclusion on a timely basis
Required Experience/Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
1+ years of Slate experience
-
Other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience
-
Experience in systems operations and development
-
Spreadsheet, database, and word processing experience
Preferred Experience/Education:
-
4+ years of Slate experience
