We’re seeking qualified candidates for the following positions at Scholar Smarts!!
 
 Position: Part-Time On-Site Instructor – Career Explorations –(Premium Workshops) 
 
Scholar Smarts is seeking a dynamic part-time instructor for our on-site Career Explorations Premium Workshops. These intensive, subject-focused workshops are designed to immerse Middle School students in meaningful exploration of career pathways. Workshops extend over 3 to 5 sessions, which may be scheduled on consecutive days or weekly, based on final workshop scheduling. Typical sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school hours, lasting up to 2.5 hours per day. High school sessions may also be scheduled on Sundays from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at designated campuses.
 
  About Career Exploration Workshops
Our Career Exploration workshops introduce students to the 14 Career Clusters through self-assessments, resource access, and real-time presentations and experiences. Students gain foundational skills and develop a personal toolkit for self-directed career exploration.
 
 Instructor Role and Responsibilities:   
1.   Content Delivery  : Facilitate workshops following a provided lesson plan or subject outline, incorporating creative and interactive elements to enhance learning. Content includes digital projects and artistic activities to promote "out-of-the-box" learning experiences.
   2.   Student Engagement  : Foster an engaging, student-centered environment that supports various learning styles. Use the Missouri Connections career and college planning platform to guide students through exercises and projects.
3.   Evaluation and Tracking  : Track and evaluate students’ homework completion and comprehension using the online learning platform. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress in Excel and other data management tools.
 
4.   Digital Project Guidance  : Help students develop digital projects as part of their learning experience, enhancing their understanding of career pathways and personal goals.
5.   Communication  : Provide regular updates to the Scholar Smarts Director, report any concerns, and seek additional support if needed.
6.   Reporting  : Complete end-of-workshop reports and facilitate student self-assessments to capture progress and outcomes.                

Requirements:   
1. Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office, PDF scanning, and related technology tasks.
2. Proficiency in data analytics and Excel for attendance tracking, assessment results, and administrative tasks.
3. Demonstrate empathy, emotional intelligence, professionalism, and commitment to student success.
4. Excellent time management skills and commitment to meeting deadlines.
5. Knowledge of digital applications for student projects.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team, with a Scholar Smarts Assistant, if applicable.
7. Must have a recent, cleared background check. Scholar Smarts can assist with obtaining one if needed.
