Executive Director

Northland Shepherd's Center is dedicated to serving older adults to ensure their health, and social emotional wellbeing while offering them connections with others that they remain vital in relationships and life. The Executive Director (ED) of Northland Shepherd’s Center holds the key staff position in the organization.

Under the authority of the Board of Directors, the ED assumes responsibility for carrying out assigned policies and regulations required to maintain the Corporation. General responsibilities include Implementation of operations, management and oversight of the organization’s programs and services, implementation of development activities including marketing, finances and budget, financial and programmatic reporting, staff supervision, and support of the Board, volunteers and committee activities. The position requires 10 years' experience in business or nonprofit work, 5 years in supervisorial role. Must demonstrate both strong writing and verbal communications skills and resiliency to tasks and demands of the position. Proficiency in MS Office, NEON or other CRM, and Canva helpful. Must have valid driver's license, be able to carry at least 10 pounds and work in office. Health and benefits included in executive package.
