Full-Time | Non-Exempt | 40 Hours/Week
The Whole Person is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to oversee facility systems, building operations, and fleet maintenance. This position serves as the primary facilities maintenance professional, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment while coordinating repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor services.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, security, and life safety systems.
· Troubleshoot facility issues and coordinate repairs with contractors and service providers.
· Manage maintenance schedules, records, and service documentation.
· Oversee maintenance and operational readiness of approximately 20 agency vehicles, including inspections, repairs, registrations, and preventive services.
· Coordinate work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, janitorial, and other vendors.
· Support facility projects, office moves, meeting setups, and inventory management.
· Provide limited custodial support as needed and respond to facility emergencies.
Qualifications
Required
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 3+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience.
· 2+ years coordinating fleet maintenance or vehicle service schedules.
· Experience with commercial building systems and vendor management.
· Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Preferred
· Fleet management or transportation operations experience.
· HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance certification.
· OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
