About Pharmacy of Grace
Pharmacy of Grace is a stand-alone charitable pharmacy focused on helping uninsured and underinsured individuals afford their medication each and every month. The pharmacy assists patients in accessing medications at a deep discount thanks to generous donors and funders. The unique, high touch, data-oriented program model includes pharmacist-patient counseling and interpretation services.   Since opening its doors in July 2022, the Pharmacy has seen tremendous growth: serving 1,900 patients and filling over 19,000 prescriptions in fiscal year 2024.
 
Position Summary
 The grants manager is an integral part of the Pharmacy of Grace team, responsible for writing grants, managing  and stewarding  corporate, foundation  and government funders  and building a portfolio  of new funder prospects. This position works closely with the clinical pharmacy program leadership as well as with the development and communications team members and key community partners.
Reports to Executive Director

Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Manage all components of a robust grants program including identification, research, proposal writing and evaluation of opportunities that support the pharmacy’s mission
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and development staff to identify program needs and collect data, budgets and stories for compelling proposal writing
  • Take lead role in writing proposals and reports
  • Track grant requirements; conduct monitoring and reporting; and update grants calendar
  • Follow best practices and educate the pharmacy staff about industry trends
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with funders
  • Other duties may be assigned as related to grant writing and grants management
 
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Education: Bachelors degree in English, communications or a related field
  • At least 2 years of grant writing experience
  • Proven writing, data analysis and communications skills
  • Detail- oriented with strong project management skills
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively
