Position Description:
The Fundraising Manager, Analytics & Insight (FMAI) holds a key role within the Major Gifts Team at Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care (KCH&PC). Responsible for assuring the right asks are made to the right people at the right time, the FMAI ensures accurate, comprehensive, and timely data input and output, and will provide oversight to the efficient management and segmentation of donors and prospective donors.
This position will lead the effort in our CRM (Raiser’s Edge/NXT) management; oversee our Halo Award/Grateful Patients and Families efforts including identification, pathway assignment, and response management; and offer donor insight to frontline fundraisers ensuring they have the information they need to build key donor relationships from their assigned segments and that systems and processes are in place to support the effective deployment of that data to maximize impact. Additionally, the FMAI will share ownership in growth of annual giving efforts including direct mail and online channels including email and social media.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Three (3) years prior, relevant work experience in prospect research, prospect management, or data analysis, ideally in a mission-driven, philanthropically supported nonprofit, required. Proven experience working in a donor CRM such as Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect, or Salesforce (preferably Raiser’s Edge),
- Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.
- Must love data, understand its strategic use in a philanthropic setting, and be a well-organized project manager.
