  • This position is part of our Clinical Department.
  • This position will work at our Wyandotte office at 434 Minnesota Ave, Kansas City, KS 66101.

Salary Range:  $61,000 - $78,000

Job Summary: Moving Beyond Depression (MBD) partners with home visiting programs to provide in-home or virtual cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to mothers experiencing depression. Additionally, MBD provide mental health training and consultation services to partnering agencies. TFC's MBD program is the largest, longest standing, and most successful satellite site in the country. Supervisory Responsibilities: The Clinical Program Manager assumes administrative responsibility for the MBD program including: supervision of MBD therapists, developing and maintaining community partnerships, reporting on assigned grants, overseeing program budgets, and providing direct service to a small caseload of clients.

Duties/Responsibilities: Facilitates a collaborative team approach while providing leadership and supervision to MBD therapists, overseeing hiring, training, and ongoing coaching.

  • Processes and assigns referrals in a timely manner.
  • Utilizes data tracking forms for the purposes of billing and outcomes data.
  • Prepares, reviews, and maintains program budgets.
  • Prepares grant reports and grant applications as required by funders.
  • Provides ongoing mental health training and consultation to community partners, ensuring effective wraparound care to children and families.
  • Manages a caseload of approximately 3-5 clients while preparing accurate and timely documentation according to established policies and procedures.
  • Provides initial MBD orientation training for partnering home visiting teams.
  • Utilizes data tracking forms for demographic information, status, and outcomes data for all referrals.
  • Maintains professional licensure as appropriate to practice mental health therapy in Kansas and Missouri.
  • Other duties as assigned by the department director or the agency Executive Director.
 Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
  • LCSW (MO) and LSCSW (KS) or related clinical certification.
  • Ability to be clinically licensed in both KS and MO within 3 months of hire
  • Three years prior experience and expertise providing mental health therapy.
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
  • Clinically licensed in KS and MO or eligible for licensure in both states
  • Previous experience supervision staff, overseeing grants, and managing budgets
  • Pervious experience providing in-home services
  • Previous experience providing mental health services via telehealth
  • Bilingual fluency in written and oral English/Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
