DCCCA is recruiting for a Director of Human Resources in Lawrence, Kansas. The Department of Human Resources is a strategic business partner to all agency programs. Its purpose is to support employees in achieving DCCCA’s overall mission of improving lives. The Director of Human Resources must first understand the agency’s mission and goals and then engage in initiatives and activities in a manner in which those goals are supported. To that end, the Director of Human Resources serves a vital role within the agency. Specifically, the Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and members of the Human Resources (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of DCCCA’s recruiting, staffing, organizational development, performance management, training, compensation, and benefits administration functions. Successful candidates are strategically minded, while operating in a cooperative and collaborative manner and expressing eagerness to help carry out day-to-day work as needed.
