Instructional Technology Specialist
Responsibilities
- Technology Integration & Coaching: Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology (Microsoft, Google tools, etc.) into the curriculum to enhance learning outcomes. Co-plan or co-teach lessons to model effective tech integration aligned with instructional goals.

- Faculty Training & Support: Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching for faculty. Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching for faculty.
- Student Support & Help Desk: Assist students in using school technology platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams LMS). Provide guidance and backup support for the student-run IT Help Desk.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Quickly troubleshoot and resolve classroom technology issues (hardware & software) to minimize instructional disruptions.
- Emerging Technologies & Innovation: Research and recommend new educational technologies (including AI tools) and best practices. Lead initiatives to pilot and implement innovative tools in the classroom.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and update clear documentation, how-to guides, and resource materials for faculty and students.
- Collaboration & Compliance: Work with IT and academic leadership to ensure tech use aligns with school goals and policies. Uphold data privacy, security, and accessibility standards for all educational technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Education, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in instructional technology support or teaching role; prior teaching experience highly valued.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace; familiarity with LMS (Microsoft Teams) and SIS (Veracross) a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to train others effectively.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging EdTech trends.

Salary Range: $50,000 - 74,999
