Technology Operations Coordinator
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Technology Operations Coordinator serves as the primary internal coordinator for technology assets, equipment lifecycle management, technology-related administrative functions, and ensures problem-solving is timely and efficient to keep operations running smoothly and with the least amount of disruption. This position manages organizational inventories of computer, mobile devices, phones, software license, and related technology equipment while acting as the liaison between staff and the organization's outsourced IT and telecommunications service providers. The coordinator ensures technology resources are properly tracked, deployed, maintained, and retired while supporting technology planning and operational efficiency across the organization. The coordinator also serves as a resource for staff training for technology equipment and programs.
EDUCATION:
Associate of bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Experience will be considered with a plan to pursue an associate degree.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of experience in technology coordination, asset management, office administration, or related operational support.
- Experience working with outsourced IT service providers preferred.
- Experience managing inventories, vendors, or technology assets.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, mobile devices, telecommunications, and software licensing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with asset management, ticketing or inventory tracking systems preferred.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Technology inventory accuracy rate.
- Timeliness of onboarding/offboarding equipment deployment.
- Software license compliance.
- Mobile phone and telecommunications cost management.
- IT vendor responsiveness and issue resolution tracking.
- Technology asset replacement planning accuracy.
