Sales Coordinator – Retail & Events
Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator – Retail & Events is responsible for driving retail and event-based revenue growth through strategic sales efforts, customer relationship development, community outreach, and successful execution of retail and pop-up sales opportunities. This position plays a key role in expanding the PawsAbilities customer base, increasing sales volume, securing new business opportunities, and maximizing revenue from events and retail operations.
Core Purpose: Generate revenue, grow customer relationships, expand market presence, and achieve sales goals through retail operations, community engagement, and event-based sales strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales Development
- Drive revenue growth through retail sales, pop-up events, farmers markets, corporate events, and community partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, event partnerships, and retail growth strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, event organizers, community partners, and business contacts to expand brand awareness and increase sales.
- Actively promote products, subscription programs, seasonal offerings, and new product launches.
- Meet or exceed established retail and event sales goals.
- Track sales performance, customer trends, and opportunities for growth and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop repeat customers through exceptional service, follow-up communication, and relationship building.
- Secure and coordinate participation in high-impact community events, farmers markets, and corporate opportunities that align with revenue objectives.
- Lead all event logistics, including planning, staffing, setup, breakdown, and on-site sales execution.
- Maximize sales opportunities during events through proactive customer engagement and product promotion.
- Represent Inclusion Connections and PawsAbilities professionally while building awareness and generating new customer leads.
- Complete post-event sales analysis, reconciliation, and recommendations for future growth opportunities within 48 hours.
- Create an engaging and welcoming retail environment that encourages customer interaction and repeat business.
- Ensure merchandise displays, product availability, and store presentation support sales growth.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Strategic Partnerships Specialist to create positive participant and customer experiences.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, event organizers, community partners, and corporate contacts to expand retail and event opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for cross-promotion, strategic partnerships, and recurring sales opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to align sales strategies and business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, customers, and community partners.
- Represent the organization professionally in all community, retail, and event interactions.
- Weekly reporting on retail revenue, event sales results, leads generated, and pipeline opportunities.
- Quarterly reporting on progress toward revenue goals, customer acquisition targets, and business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, and event performance data.
- Achievement of monthly and annual sales goals.
- Growth in retail revenue and event sales.
- Growth in customer retention and repeat purchases.
- Expansion of community partnerships and event opportunities.
- Positive customer experience and brand representation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000 salary plus performance bonuses tied to achievement of sales revenue goals.
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8-hour shift – Some evenings and weekend availability are necessary for the role. Please note the second half of the year includes more After-Hour events, which will require flexibility in work scheduling.
